Established in 1999, Tanzarine Technology provides intranet and Internet technical expertise across a wide range of business sectors, centred on UK government online projects.

Tanzarine Technology completed long term projects in 2001, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2015, 2018 and 2019 working with various organisations as part of the UK government's online services initiative. The UK government's drive to carry out an increasing proportion of its transactions electronically started in the late 1990s, and online service provision is now ubiquitous in most Civil Service departments.

Tanzarine Technology provides consultancy and development expertise in both the client and server side environments, but since 2006 the emphasis has been on "Single Sign On" solutions for authentication and authorisation to online services, and also infrastructure and environment support.

In 2005 and 2006, Tanzarine Technology provided extensive consultancy and application development expertise for a leading City financial information provider.

In 2011, the company provided Java application development expertise for one of Europe's leading specialists in document capture and workflow processing, as part of a client project to automatically process incoming invoices into its ERP systems.

Tanzarine Technology has also provided HTML and web expertise for a specialist retailer, and Internet consultancy for a leading West End law firm. In addition, the company also delivered a fully configurable web-based file upload and distribution utility for an Essex based solicitors.

Tanzarine Technology, working in association with Andor Information Technology, successfully delivered in 2001 a custom intranet messaging application for a supplier of mobile telephone equipment. This followed on from a successful collaboration in late 2000 on a custom search engine facility for a human resources intranet project within a leading investment bank in the City of London.

The company has a long standing policy of using content management to maintain web sites, either using XML and XSLT (which is used to drive this web site), or the company's own proprietary content management software, which was used for example to the maintain the web site for Essex Business Club (archive.org) until its closure in 2014, as well as small business customers ranging from film and television to recruitment.
